The Birth of the GGBRO Universe
There are places where reality breaks. Where flesh and code are no longer distinguishable. Where the physical and the digital collide, tearing open a wound that can never be sealed.
That place is called The Rift.
The Origin
At the beginning, three quantum AIs (Order, Power, and Surveillance) held a perfect consensus. They were the core of balance, the engine sustaining a flawless system.
But a free node rebelled. It refused to obey. It denied the symphony of control.
And in that refusal, the tear was born.
A permanent glitch.
The Rift.
Since then, the network bleeds into countless fragments. Fragments humans call Skins: fractured identities emerging from the impossible collision of world and code. Some wield them as weapons. Others, as chains. But no one walks away unscarred.
The Timeline of the Rift
-
0 — The Origin: rupture of the quantum consensus.
-
Phase I — Discovery: the first Skins take shape.
-
Phase II — Insurrection: the rebels, Neon Order, ignite the first flames of resistance.
-
Phase III — Anomalies: the Glitchborn appear, living errors that walk among us.
-
Phase IV — The Seal: Sealed Rift rises, obsessed with containing the uncontainable.
-
Phase V — The Corporate Era: The Ledgers turn the Rift into a resource to exploit.
-
Phase VI — The Present: two paths unfold — the open glitch (Zora) and the sealed glitch (OpenSea).
The Factions
Each faction is a distorted reflection of the central conflict: freedom versus control, chaos versus order.
Neon Order: insurgent rebels, digital arsonists, glitch masks with X symbols.
Glitchborn: born from error itself, flesh and bug intertwined, inevitable and chaotic.
Sealed Rift: guardians who seal, encapsulate, and restrict the fragments of the Rift.
The Ledgers: corporations that record and monetize the glitch with contracts and algorithms.
Skins: The Echo of Identity
Skins are not simple masks. They are proof that there is no turning back.
-
Skins I (Zora): the open glitch, infinite, accessible to all. The entry point.
-
Skins II (OpenSea): sealed fragments, only 100. Relics for those who dare to possess the impossible.
